Pune reported 256 new COVID-19 cases, 113 recoveries and one death on Thursday, February 11, taking the total number of cases up to 1,94,051. According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), there are 1,617 active cases while 1,87,645 patients have recovered so far. The death toll in Pune is at 4,789.

 As many as 3,230 tests were conducted taking the total count to 10,61,318.

On Thursday, February 11, Maharashtra recorded 3,297 fresh cases of the novel coronavirus. This propelled the state's COVID-19 tally to 20,52,905. Currently, there are 30,265 active cases in the state. With 6,107 COVID-19 patients discharged in the day, the number of recovered soared to 19,70,053.

More than 25 people from the state have lost their lives to this disease in the last 24 hours while the total has now mounted to 51,415. While 1,66,785 persons are under home quarantine, 1,852 others have been admitted to institutional quarantine centres. The COVID-19 recovery rate and fatality rate in the state stand at 95.84 per cent, and 2.51 per cent respectively.

Meanwhile, India reported 9,309 new cases, 15,858 recoveries and 87 deaths taking the tally up to 1,08,80,603 on Thursday, February 11. According to the data by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in total 1,05,89,230 have completely recovered. The death toll is at 1,55,447 in the country. At present, there are 1,35,926 active cases. According to the ICMR, 20,47,89,784 samples have been tested up to February 11. So far, 75,05,010 healthcare workers have been vaccinated in the country.
