Parel - On a daily basis, an array of people throng Tata Memorial Hospital for Cancer treatment. But, due to the space crunch, many relatives of the patients sleep outside the hospital. Same is the case with the resident doctors who have no adequate place to stay. Considering the dearth, a new building will be built on the land of Haffkine institute. It will be of 6 lakh sqare feets of which 1.5 lakh sq feet area will be designated for resident doctors while the rest will be used for the patients and relatives of Tata hospital.
