The 30th National Convention of Student Nurses Association (SNA) was held in Nashik recently. In the various competitions held in this convention with the motto 'Nursing Student Empowerment: Prospects and Challenges', Thane Municipal Corporation's Sau Meenatai Thackeray Nursing Training Institute has received the award of 'Best Student Nursing Association Unit' in India and this award is in the form of one lakh rupees and a badge of honour. It is widely appreciated for his success.


The 30th National Convention of Student Nurses Association was held between November 28 and 29, 2023 at Nashik by Trend Nurses Association of India Delhi Branch. NITI Aayog Member Dr Vinod Paul, Nursing Council President T Dilip Kumar, Trend Nurses Association of India (TNAI) President Dr. Roy was present.

2,894 student nurses from various nursing institutes of 33 states of India participated in this convention. Various competitions are conducted in accordance with the conference held for the overall development of the students. Also students present a research paper in the field of nursing. Various competitions like rangoli, painting, pencil, sketch, monologue, elocution, dance were held in the competition.


In the said session, Prachi Dharap, Principal of Meenatai Thackeray Nursing Training Institute, Varsha Patil, Secretary of Maharashtra State Branch, Vaibhavi Farde, Consultant and Nurse of Student Nursing Association, Shabana Khan, and Prachiti Tamore participated. In the ceremonial parade held on the occasion of the inauguration of the conference, Vaibhavi Farde of the organisation represented Maharashtra and received the award of Best Student Nursing Association Unit in India in this competition.
