Central Railway Undertakes Infrastructure Upgrade On Jalgaon-Bhusaval 4th line

Central Railways carried out launching of 30.5-meter span open web girder weighing 100 MT of Rail Fly Over on Bhadli-Jalgaon 4th line (part of Jalgaon-Bhusaval 24km - 4th line project) on January 12.

Central Railways, continuing its strides towards infrastructure up-gradation, carried out launching of 30.5-meter span open web girder weighing 100 MT of Rail Fly Over on Bhadli-Jalgaon 4th line (part of Jalgaon-Bhusaval 24km - 4th line project) on January 12.

The main girder was launched by the end-launching method with a launching nose of 21-meter span attached to the main girder. 5 temporary support trestles were erected for the movement of girder assembly. The track over the girder is pre-linked with H-beam sleepers. The launching of the girder was completed by operating 4 hours block on the section.

Moreover, in another way to augment its services the Central Railways offers to its commuters, the body has reportedly undertaken the decision to cultivate flowers on 150 acres of land near its railway tracks on the Mumbai suburban network. A private company, based on accounts will be accorded the contract through open tendering to undertake floriculture on over 150 acres of land patches at 113 locations on the railway tracks. 

Other than this, the Central Railways has also intensified its drive against mask-less commuters taking the COVID-19 pandemic into consideration. Up to January 12, 2022, an aggregate of 2,293 persons have been found not wearing masks and INR 3.93 lakh fine was realised from them.
