Central Railway (CR) has published an open online tender for setting up and operating pre-fabricated Cine Dome at four locations namely, Dombivli, Khopoli, Juchandra and Igatpuri stations.
The deadline for closing tender applications is October 12, 2023 at 3 pm. It will be developed under Non-Fare Revenue (NFR) Earning model for a period of 10 years.
The proposed Cine Dome will be a full-fledged cinema for showcasing movies including latest movie releases & documentaries and other content etc. along with meals/snacks/beverages for customers/visitors/Guests. However, no permanent structure will be allowed to be constructed. The Cine Dome will be manned by the tenderers own operators. Crowd management shall be the sole responsibility of the party
Setting up, Operation, Maintenance & Management of Pre-Fabricated Cine Dome shall be the sole responsibility of the licensee and the cost for the same is to be borne by the licensee (it includes cost of erecting structures, Pre-Fabricated Cine Dome related items, safety & security, necessary amenities, laying cables, electrical connection, electricity consumption charges, electricity deposit & other incidental expenses etc.). Cost of all the above and incidental expenses incurred for setting up & operation of Pre-Fabricated Cine Dome is to be borne by the licensee
The tenderer will set up Pre-Fabricated Cine Dome as per location’s requirement. For this purpose, he will submit a detailed layout plan/design for necessary approval from competent authority within 30 days of issue of LOA. Railway reserves the right to advise any changes as per its requirement. However, no permanent structure should be built.
Total area around 5000 sq.ft. at each of the above locations.
Reserve price per annum is as under-
1) Dombivli – Rs. 47,85,400/-
2) Juchandra – Rs. 35,82,000/-
3) Igatpuri – Rs. 17,10,400/-
4) Khopoli - Rs. 23,31,100/-
Bidders have to register in IREPS portal of the railways in order to participate in E-Tender.
