It took two years to convert the concept of a floatel into reality, says the hotel's director Chetan Bhide. Check out these features of the AB Celestial hotel.

The features of this hotel are:

  • Three tier luxury sky deck with dining flotel
  • Capacity to entertain 660 clients

  • Terrace on fourth and fifth floors

Floatels have been operational in Kolkata, Goa, and Kerala but AB Celestial will be Mumbai’s first floating hotel.

Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) sources said the project cost close to Rs 20 crore. Parking arrangements have been made along a new road that leads to the 'floatel'.
