Blenders Pride Fashion Tour is back with 'More than you think'

India's one of the most reputed fashion events, blenders pride fashion tour, is back with its 13th edition.

The fashion tour is known to make a mark with redefining style with music. This year, with the 13th edition, BPFT 2017, is set to present designs 'more than you think.'

Talking about the event, Rajeshwar Banerjee, Assistant VP (Marketing), Pernod Ricard India, said, "For today's consumer, having a unique style and expressing the same is non-negotiable. Style hence is fundamentally democratic. It is every individual's potential to create their unique identity and to strive for authenticity which breaks stereotypes."

Blenders Pride Fashion Tour, 2017, the most definitive expression of style and good taste, brings alive uninsured with an amalgamation of the biggest name in fashion, music and Bollywood. As always, the effort will be to provide a never seen before and exciting experience to the consumers."

This edition of the fashion tour will be held once again in 5 cities between October 28, 2017, to December 20, 2017, starting with Hyderabad (Oct 28) followed by Gurgaon,(Nov 4), Kolkata (Nov 18), Mumbai (Dec 9) and Bengaluru (Dec 20).

Eminent designer Tarun Tahiliani will be presenting his collection on December 9 in Mumbai.

Other designers - Falgubi & Shane Peacock, Shantanu & Nikhil, Manish Arora, Nikhil Thampi, Abraham & Thakore and Gauri & Nainika - will be showcasing their exclusive work at other cities.

The music for this year's event is also curated by Gaurav Raina. Popular artists Mame Khan, Malini Awasthy, the band Mumbai strings will be lending their tune and voice with Midival Pundits at the event in Mumbai.

The list of other musicians who will be a part of BPFT 2017 includes Monica Dogra, Curtain Blue, Kavya Trehan, Kamakshi Khanna, Apeksha Dandekar, Komorebi and Soundarya.

The preview of the fashion tour was unveiled at the Taj Mahal Palace hotel in Mumbai, where designers also had a conversation on their journey and breaking stereotypes in style, with Bollywood director Zoya Akhtar.
