5. Powai

It is an upscale township, which includes 42 residential buildings and 23 commercial buildings. It is also known as the IT Hub of Mumbai. The average price here is INR 29,000 per square foot.

4. Juhu

Known as the “Beverly Hills of Bollywood”, it is surrounded by the Arabian Sea to the west, and is home to some of the most popular Bollywood celebrities. These include the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, Sonam Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, amongst others. The average price here is INR 39,000 per square foot. 

3. Worli

It was once a fishing town, and is now among the seven islands that makes up the modern-day Mumbai. It hosts the most famous Bandra-Worli sea link too. Herein the average price is INR 37,013 per square foot.

2. Altamount Road

Situated in Tardeo, it is one of the prime areas in south Mumbai. It is also home to Antilla, owned by Mukesh Ambani, which is the most expensive house in the country. The average price in Tardeo is INR 47,786 per square foot.

1. Malabar Hills

It is one of Mumbai's most upscale areas, located on a hilltop in south Mumbai. The Girgaon Chowpatty Beach, Back Bay, and Nariman Point are all within walking distance in this region. Its average price is INR 51,500 per square foot.
