Learn about the history of archiving

This is a Mumbai Local talk titled, The Archive Configured and Reconfigured. At the session, Chaudhuri will also share her journey in running an ethnomusicology archive from the times when it was mainly for academic use, through the age of digitisation. Since the establishment of the Museum Trust in 2003, the Museum has augmented its permanent collection with new acquisitions, to create a comprehensive representation of the city's art and culture from the 19th century onwards, including contemporary art.
