With the announcement nearing for the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections, the opposition parties have initiated their respective campaigns. Under the name of ‘Mera Sapna, Meri Mumbai’ (My dream, My Mumbai), Mumbai Congress intends to shape the party’s manifesto which aligns with people's issues. 

In this political campaign, the Youth Congress plays a key role while interacting with the young population. Moreover, Congress workers will talk to several people in Mumbai in order to take their advice on the issues that should have been mentioned in the party’s manifesto.  

The Congress workers will interact with people living in different parts of the city and will learn about the problems being faced by them so that it can be included in the party manifesto. This preparation tactic is being carried out ahead of the upcoming Maharashtra assembly polls.

In Mumbai, there are 36 assembly constituencies. However, the seat-sharing process has not been concluded between Congress and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). Both the parties have earlier announced that they will be contesting the upcoming Maharashtra assembly polls in alliance.
