The polling will take place on 58 Lok Sabha seats across eight states on May 19 and election results will be declared on May 23, 2019.

The campaigns for the last and seventh phase of the gigantic 2019 Lok Sabha elections will be concluded on Friday. As per the rules, the election campaigns across India will stop at 5:00 in the evening and the voting process for the final phase will be carried out on May 19. 

The polling will take place on 58 Lok Sabha seats in eight states and the election results will be declared on May 23. In Maharashtra, the LS polls happened in four phases which ended on April 29. 

In the last phase, the voting process will be held on 13 seats in Punjab and Uttar Pradesh, four seats in Himachal, nine seats in West Bengal, eight seats in Bihar and Madhya Pradesh, three seats in Jharkhand followed by a seat in Chandigarh.

On the last day of campaigning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address an election rally in Madhya Pradesh while Congress President Rahul Gandhi will campaign in Solan, Himachal Pradesh. Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi will arrive in UP to carry out a roadshow in Mirzapur and Kushinagar.
