Jogeshwari- With the local body elections round the corner, residents of Subash road, Jogeshwari were expecting the local politicians to come and lure them as usual for votes. But with Subash road full of potholes, the residents thought that monsoon was still active in Jogeshwari. Repeated complaints to the authorities went underheard. Being an arterial road connecting the railway station and the highway, residents had to suffer unbearable traffic snarls and pollution apart from the inconvenience. But 4th December turned out to be a surprise for the residents as local corporator Ms Ujjwala Modak took the initiative to repair Subash road. Call it the alarm bells of the elections or a change of heart, residents have got all the reason to gossip.
