Atal Bihari Vajpayee's statue at Borivali and Olympic Bhawan in Pune were denied permission during the coalition government. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar advised the Congress that while expecting positivity from others, we should also reflect on ourselves. He explained that we have not come with any copper plate of power, we will remain in power as long as we have the support of the people.

The government has maintained the same formula adopted since 2019 in the allocation of funds to the MLAs and has not changed it, he told the opposition. As the state government is not allocating enough funds to the constituencies of the MLAs of the opposition parties, the opposition took an aggressive stand in the assembly. The state government has submitted additional demands of INR 41,243 crores in the Legislative Assembly and they have been approved by majority. Pawar replied on the issues raised by the members. Then Pawar shared his experience while working in the government during the Maha Vikas Aghadi government.

Vajpayee's personality was respected by all like former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri. But still permission was denied for the statue erected in Borivali on the initiative of MP Gopal Shetty. Pawar recalled that then Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Devendra Fadnavis, I, Shetty etc were present in that meeting held through audio-visual.

Adv. Yashomati Thakur had complained to the opposition MLAs about fund allocation and other issues. So change your glasses and don't look at me like a step brother, I will wave at you like a brother, Pawar also commented.
