The High Court's decision to postpone the election results is a testament to the Election Commission's lax management. The BJP, along with the Election Commission, is equally responsible for the chaos that has arisen in the state today, said NCP (Sharad Pawar) state general secretary and MLA Rohit Pawar. On the issue of reservation, the Nagpur Bench of the High Court has ordered the counting of votes for the elections to Nagar Parishads and Nagar Panchayats to be held on December 21.

The decision to postpone the counting of votes is a testament to the lax management of the State Election Commission. The Election Commission and the BJP are equally responsible for the confusion that has arisen in the state regarding the local body elections today. Rohit Pawar has also said that even though Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has expressed displeasure over the election chaos, the Chief Minister should not forget that this is what will happen if the Election Commission backs the BJP.

We have been continuously requesting the Commission to take strict measures against repeat voters. However, the Commission has not taken any notice of our request. Now, the ruling MLAs are trying to disrupt the election process through double voters. In Buldhana, the locals would have caught the bogus voter. However, the son and nephew of Buldhana MLA Sanjay Gaikwad managed to get rid of the bogus voter by arguing with the police. This shows how the ruling party is tampering with the voting process in broad daylight.

The ruling party is continuously influencing the election process through bogus voters. However, the Commission is sleeping. The court's decision to hold the counting of votes for the municipal councils and municipal councils on December 21 has increased concerns. Rohit Pawar has also made a suggestive statement that everyone will have to be very careful until December 21.
