These bmc elections women seem to be in a favourable spot .Ward rearrangement saw quite a few male candidates losing their tickets to female candidates who are now preparing for this battle .One such beneficiary is the president of Jehan foundation , Femida Panwala DeSilva who will be contesting from block no 102 . Through Jehan foundation, Femida has provided quite a few medical facilities to the people in this ward and now the people have urged her to contest this election to which she has agreed . She is supported by Swabhimani Sangathan as well.
