Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Kalyan on Wednesday to campaign for Mahayuthi candidates in Kalyan, Bhiwandi. On this occasion, for security reasons, in the action taken five days ago, the street businesses of many in Kalyan were razed by the municipality. Shopkeepers expressed their displeasure as the shops on the roads where Narendra Modi was coming for the meeting were closed down. All major traffic roads leading to Kalyan city have been closed for heavy vehicles. This undeclared ban has caused intense anger among the citizens.

Modi will land at the helipad at Bapgaon in Bhiwandi area near Kalyan on Wednesday. Just because the road between the helipad and the Vertex Maidan, Aadhaarwadi meeting place in the west of Kalyan should be in good condition and clear, youths who started selling vegetables, dhabas, vada pav, misal, all the businesses started a few years ago were razed down by the Kalyan Dombivli Municipality on the order of Modi's special security team. Due to this action, many businessmen faced many losses. The concrete shops along this road are enclosed with green nets.


Newali Naka, Mharal, Shilphata, Bhiwandi External Road, Padgha-Kalyan road leading to Kalyan city have been closed for heavy vehicles. All heavy goods vehicles are going to their destination via alternate roads between villages. Padgha-Gandhari Bridge-Kalyan is the closest and busiest road for the citizens of Bhiwandi, Wada, Shahapur areas. A helipad has been prepared for the landing of Narendra Modi's helicopter at Bapgaon on this road. For the safety of this helipad, the Padgha to Kalyan road has been completely closed for traffic since 7 am on Wednesday morning. Because of this, the employees and professionals of Sape, Bapgaon, Amne area suffered the most.
