Employees of various government offices are appointed for election work. Now it has been decided to take the help of NSS, NCC, Scout, RSP and other interested students to help the senior citizens and women coming to the polling station.


Accordingly, the Office of the Inspector of Teachers has sent a letter to the principals and principals of all recognised schools and junior colleges in Mumbai. According to this, the help of class IX to 12th students will be taken to control the crowd and help the voters on the polling day for the Lok Sabha elections. The Education Inspector Office has ordered the submission of the names of these students and the names of the teachers of the concerned subject.

Exclude students from election work

The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted a rise in temperature in the state including Mumbai in April-May. So the citizens will have to bear the heat of the hot sun. BJP state executive member Anil Bornare has demanded that students should be excluded from election work considering the possibility of health problems due to heatstroke.
