A case has been registered against Shiv Sena Thackeray group MLA Rajan Salvi along with his family in the case of undeclared assets. On Tuesday, Rajan Salvi's nephew Durgesh Salvi was interrogated for about five hours at the Thane Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB). Rajan Salvi was also present outside the office at this time. If some people are angry with me, take action against me, but it is wrong to disturb my family. Destiny will teach them a lesson. Rajan Salvi said that we are always with Uddhav Thackeray.

MLA Salvi had accumulated unaccounted assets worth 3 crore 53 lakh 89 thousand 752 rupees at different places in Ratnagiri during the period from October 2009 to December 2, 2022. He has not submitted a satisfactory explanation for the same. Hence, cases have been registered against him along with his wife and son. On Tuesday, his nephew Durgesh Salvi was called for questioning regarding the property, ACB said. The interrogation lasted for about five hours.


After this inquiry, Rajan Salvi interacted with the media. My family and I have been being investigated through ACB for the last one and a half years. My nephew was called to the head office in Thane. We are cooperating with the investigation, said Salvi.
