MNS Leader Nayan Kadam Tests Positive For Covid-19

The deadly coronavirus has taken the country by storm, as the nation is expected to reach the 12 lakh mark soon. India's worst-hit state of Maharashtra has crossed over 3 lakh Covid-19 cases and recorded over 12,000 casualties due to the virus. As per media reports, another politician has been tested positive for coronavirus in the state this week.

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader Nayan Kadam, has tested positive for the coronavirus infection. Kadam had been feeling feverish for the last few days, after which he decided to isolate himself from everyone else. He got himself tested and the results came back as COVID-19 positive. Currently, the politician’s health is completely fine and he is quarantined at home. Kadam is the third politician to be diagnosed with an asymptomatic case this week. 

Earlier, BJP Corporator Jagdish Ojha, from ward number 2 of Dahisar, and Senior Congress Member and Mumbai’s Guardian Leader Aslam Shaikh had tested positive for the coronavirus. Both of them were reportedly doing perfectly fine but had decided to get tested as a precautionary measure, and were diagnosed as positive cases. Both Ojha and Shaikh have isolated themselves and working from home.
