Prior to the Lok Sabha polls, on April 29, the Congress is all set to launch the Jan Aakrosh (Anger) Rally. In order to make this rally a success, the Mumbai unit of Congress has booked an 18-coach train and will name it 'Rahul Gandhi Super Fast Express’.
According to Mumbai Congress president, Sanjay Nirupam, nearly 1200 Congress workers are expected to travel on the train which will be flagged off from Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and will arrive in Delhi on April 29. Every coach will be named after national leaders like Jawaharlal Nehru, Dr BR Ambedkar, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Savitribai Phule.
The Congress believes that just like their ‘Save the Constitution’ campaign — launched at Delhi’s Talkatora Stadium — which was a success, Jan Aakrosh rally will be a hit too.
