An Indian Express report confirmed that during the meeting, which involved an extended state executive council, clear instructions were issued to initiate preparations for the Lok Sabha elections. The primary focus of these preparations is to bolster the party's presence across the state. Among the key directives given, party leaders were instructed to schedule meetings and interaction programs with workers in each of Maharashtra's six divisions. Furthermore, plans were unveiled for district-level, block-level, and panchayat-level gatherings to ensure comprehensive outreach.

Special Leadership Workshops and Unity in the Coalition

Chennithala also emphasized the importance of special leadership workshops for party workers, scheduled to take place in the first week of February. These workshops will cover various aspects of effective leadership and campaign strategies, equipping party members for the challenging election season ahead. Regarding the seat allocation arrangements within the Maha Vikas Aghadi coalition, Chennithala disclosed that a preliminary meeting among the three alliance partners in Delhi confirmed their commitment to contesting the elections together. He stressed that unity is their primary goal, and although the exact number of contested seats has not been finalized, they are resolute in presenting a united front. Specific seat allocations are expected to be determined soon.

In his closing remarks, Chennithala expressed unwavering commitment among party leaders and workers to secure victory for the Congress in the Lok Sabha elections.
