Noted personalities cast their vote

Mumbai - Along with political leaders and celebrities, VVIP Mumbaikars too cast their votes on Tuesday. Celebrities including Milind Gunaji, state election commissioner J S Saharia and BMC commissioner Ajoy Mehta, Tina Ambani, and other noted personalities exercised their votes.

State election commissioner J S Saharia spoke on missing names which created a lot of confusion in many areas. “We announced a holiday on February 21 so that people go out and vote. I know there was chaos at some places but we had announced a few months back that we will be using updated voters list and had urged voters to check if their names are included in it or not. For which we had given the time frame from September 16 to October 16,” said Saharia.
