Ghatkopar – If rich people have committed mistakes, you should hang them but do not name poor’s money as black money, said NCP chief Sharad Pawar while targeting the Modi government over demonetisation issue. The Maratha strongman was addressing party workers at Ghatkopar on Sunday. He further said that Modi had promised to end crimes from the country and he did it as all the people are standing in queues at the banks and ATMs. He also targeted the Modi government by giving some funny examples related to demonetisation. When Modi goes on a foreign tour, he meets only Indians there and does not meet the residents of that country, said Pawar while criticising the prime minister on his foreign tours. Pawar also said that Central government is planning to spend thousands of crore rupees on the bullet train but has not been improving the condition of local trains at Mumbai despite city’s growing population.
