Nariman Point- Demonetisation has led to an Emergency like situation in the country, says Congress spokesperson Sachin Sawant. He has also raised a question on the chief minister's statement regarding transferring the Pen Urban Bank’s land to CIDCO in Ratnagiri, where the electoral code of conduct is already in place. Sawant has alleged that the ruling government is playing with the public’s emotions. He also spoke about the ban on exchanging junked currency notes at district cooperative banks, saying it was a creating big problems for farmers. He ended the media conference saying he wants to know how the Coldplay concert was beneficial for Maharashtra.
