During the Mahayuti government, Mumbai was being looted in full swing. Eight and a half hectares of the Dairy Development Department is in Adani's pocket. Heads of the state are supporting Adani who is looting Mumbai. Therefore, Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Assembly Vijay Wadettiwar strongly attacked the government, urging them to save Mumbai from Adani.
Vadettiwar alleged that several important sites in Mumbai were given to the Adani company for the Dharavi redevelopment project through the issue of propriety. Eight and a half hectares of dairy land in Kurla has been given to Adani. Interestingly, on June 10, this land was transferred from the Animal Husbandry Department to the Revenue Department to Adani on the same day. This transfer took place in one day. He asked how he could be so eager.
This land worth around INR 20 thousand crore has been given at only 25 percent of the ready reckoner rate. Opposition leaders also objected to this. Vadettiwar also alleged that he was transferred only because the then Animal Husbandry Secretary Tukaram Munde raised objections regarding the transfer of this land. Similarly, the BJP leaders were saying that Adani has not been given the place of salt plains and municipal zakat nakas in Mumbai. He also alleged that his claim has now become false and that the head of the state is supporting Adani. At this time, the opposition protested against the government and left the meeting.
