Sena candidate claims threat to life

Vikhroli - Claiming threat to her life from the opponent in her ward, Shiv Sena candidate from ward no. 123, Dr. Bharati Bawdane, has registered a complaint with the Election Commission. Shiv Sena’s former corporator Sudhir More could not secure the party ticket for his brother’s wife in the said ward number. The party has given a ticket to Dr. Bawdane and hence More supporters are allegedly threatening Dr. Bawdane of her life. Meanwhile, the election commission has provided her security and posted two police constables for her security. When asked, Sunil More refuted all the allegations of Dr. Bawdane and termed it her publicity stunt.
