Mumbai – The municipal commissioner has transferred seven assistant municipal commissioners while two executive engineers were promoted as assistant commissioners.
As soon as the election code of conduct came to end and the mayor and deputy mayor assumed their offices, the municipal commissioner issued to transfer orders. Assistant municipal commissioner Kishor Gandhi has been transferred to Mulund in T ward. Gandhi was transferred allegedly under the pressure from the BJP but it was cancelled after the protest from Congress, Shiv Sena and MNS. Gandhi has now been transferred in another bastion of the BJP. In Gandhi’s place, executive engineer has been posted on promotion. Prashant Gaikwad who is known as ‘Demolition Man’ is transferred to Andheri west. Executive engineer Govind Garule has been posted at Gaikwad’s place by giving him the promotion.
Parag Masurkar, assistant municipal commissioner of K west ward, has been transferred in assets department while Vishwas Shankarwar has been transferred in encroachment section (eastern suburbs). Dr Bhagyashri Kapse has been transferred in N ward (Ghatkopar) while Prashant Sapkale has been transferred in G –South ward. Sudhanshu Dwivedi, assistant municipal commissioner of N ward, has been transferred in town planning department.
