Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar has been threatened with death threats on Twitter. In this matter, NCP MP Supriya Sule has met the Police Commissioner and will also file her complaint in this matter.


NCP will do Jail Bharo movement


The NCP on Thursday said it will protest with a "Jail Bharo Andolan" against a tweet by Bharatiya Janata Party leader and former Lok Sabha member Nilesh Rane, in which Sharad Pawar was called Aurangzeb. NCP spokesperson Mahesh Tapase said Rane would have to delete the tweet in 24 hours, while BJP national president JP Nadda and state unit chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule should clarify whether they agree with Rane.

"Jail Bharo Movement"

The BJP and Rane should apologise to the people of Maharashtra for the tweet, he said, adding that his party will protest with a "Jail Bharo Andolan" at the MRA Marg police station in south Mumbai at 11:00 am on Friday.
