Maharashtra’s Shiv Sena party’s MLAs and MPs have decided to handover their one month salary to Kerala flood victims via Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Yuva Sena Chief Aditya Thackeray provided this information on Twitter. Thackeray added that along with one month’s salary, party’s Thane office would provide clothes and basic necessities to people in Kerala.
To stand with Kerala, all MPs & MLAs of @ShivSena will be contributing their one month’s salary to the Kerala Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

Thackeray added that Shiv Sena had organised a painting exhibition in 2014 and had collected funds. He said that the party will be using the same funds for Kerala flood victims. Along with this, he has appealed to people to come ahead and help Kerala flood victims by providing clothes, medicines, blankets etc.
Till now, over 300 people have lost their lives due to massive floods that have paralysed Kerala. So far, more than 43,000 people have been rescued, out of which around 600 people were rescued on Monday and 12.47 lakh people have been lodged in relief camps.
