Shiv Sena sees a 'social' civil war in Dindoshi
Dindoshi - A social media war has broken out in the Dindoshi wing of the Shiv Sena.
Women's wing chief Pooja Chavan of ward no. 37 and Bhomsingh Rathod of ward no. 43 recently joined the Shiv Sena and have promptly been given their official candidature forms from the party, popularly known as the AB forms. This move has upset local aspirants from the party who had been hoping for a ticket. The disappointment has turned into a veritable backlash on social networking websites.
Local Corporator Prashant Kadam and candidate Pooja Chavan of ward no 37 are now engaged in a social war, trying to outdo each other. Kadam, say sources, was planning to field his wife Yogita Kadam from ward no 37 and his nephew Rupesh Kadam from ward no 43.
However, neither of these candidates got the much hoped for party ticket. The thwarted family has apparently taken their anger to social media. We are waiting to see how this drama unfolds.
