A special session of the Maharashtra Legislature has been summoned so as to pass the Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax Bill by the state government from 20 May to 22 May. For which the ministry will stay opened on Sunday as well and the session for this will start on 20 May. The Department of General Administration by issuing a circular have already ordered all the employees and officials of the department to be present in the administrative office for the functions to be carried on in the legislature.
On the other hand, during this special session, the opposition parties may raise the issue of the waiving off the loans of the farmers.
