Uddhav asks BJP cadres to 'shut up'

Uddhav asks BJP cadres to 'shut up'

Bandra - Digs at one another are the order of the day now that the election date draws near.
On Thursday, BJP MP Kirit Somaiya criticised the Shiv Sena, asking rhetorically how many years the Sena intends to rule the city. An alliance would now have to be done as per the BJP's wishes, he said. This obviously did not go down well with Shiv Sena party workers who complained to Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray. The latter asked CM Devendra Fadnavis to tell BJP leaders to 'keep their mouths shut'.
The chief minister appears keen on an alliance but BJP leaders and party workers do not seem to be in mood to follow his lead. Will Fadnavis acquiesce to Thackeray's silken threat? The ball is now in the CM's court.
