Uddhav Thackeray, the leader of the Shiv Sena (UBT) party, has recently expressed his views on the nation's future in an exclusive interview on the party's official podcast, "Awaj Kunacha." Thackeray predicts that the year 2024 will be a significant turning point for India. He compared the BJP's loss in the Lok Sabha elections with the historical decline of the British empire.

During the interview, Thackeray expressed confidence in regaining the name "Shiv Sena" following a favourable ruling by the Supreme Court. He emphasised the importance of honest individuals in revitalising the party. Furthermore, he compared traitors within the party to crabs that hinder progress.

The leader also shed light on the positive during challenging times for the Shiv Sena. He noted that the exodus of several party members has opened up opportunities for new workers to contribute and strengthen the party's ranks.

Thackeray did not shy away from critiquing the Eknath Shinde-Devendra Fadnavis-Ajit Pawar coalition, dismissing it as a "vegetable oil can" government. He further accused the BJP of hypocrisy concerning party splits and alliances. He also questioned their acceptance of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leaders, whom they previously labelled as corrupt.

He also spoke about Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP's National Democratic Alliance (NDA). He said that their influence is primarily limited to the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), and Income Tax (IT) departments.

Addressing a national concern, Thackeray expressed distress about the plight of women in Manipur despite having female leaders in power. He highlighted the need to address women's issues.

Looking ahead to future elections, Thackeray voiced his worries about the consequences if the BJP were to win re-election in 2024. He called upon citizens to vote responsibly to safeguard the country's future. Finally, Thackeray challenged the BJP's promotion of the Uniform Civil Code, urging a nationwide beef ban and stern action against corruption.
