Maratha Kranti morcha saw cascading effects in various parts of Mumbai where protestors got violent. In Mankhurd, when police tried managing the protestors, the latter were aggressive and torched a bus. Fortunately, there was no casualty reported.

At various places, protestors did rail roko, road roko along with threatening shopkeepers to shut down shops. In Jogeshwari and Kandivali, police had to intervene when protestors blocked Western Express Highway. Meanwhile, protestors torched BEST bus no. 517 at Kurla bus depot. Fortunately, there was no passenger in the bus.

Also, protestors were violent at Mumbai-Pune Expressway where they started pelting stones at policemen. The cops fired a couple of bullets in the air to scare away the crowd. However, this act enraged the protestors who in return torched three police vans.
