Like every year, this year too people participated in the 15th Tata Mumbai Marathon. But there was one who stood out amongst the crowd. He was none other than 105-year-old Dagadu Bhamre. He has been participating in the marathon for the last couple of years. Last year he participated in the dream run and completed it in two hours.
Nashik resident Bhamre walks 10-12 km and exercises as well. He loves staying fit and so he never misses his walks.
He only eats home-made food and he avoids outside food. Every day he eats dal, rice, chapati, and sabzi. Along with this, he drinks a lot of water.
Dagdu was born in 1914 in Nashik and was a teacher. Dagdu has a son, daughter, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren.
