I got retired in 2010 and from 2013 I started cycling. Initially, I cycled in Goa, then in Leh. Later, I rode from Mum-Goa, Manali-Leh, and last year I rode from Goa-Kanyakumari. On a daily basis, I ride 30kms. I chose this ride because I loved the objective of paying tribute to our Indian soldiers and other things is at this age, I have no illnesses, thanks to cycling,” he said.
20 like-minded people and avid cyclists will be riding from Mumbai to Wagah Border crossing five different states i.e Maharashtra – Gujarat – Rajasthan – Haryana – Punjab with the objective of spreading peace and paying a tribute to our gallant Indian Soldiers, who have laid down their lives for keeping us safe and soldiers who are currently far away from their homes safeguarding Indians.
These 20 people belong to different professions, but have a common passion for one thing and i.e. cycling.
