On the lines of the Kashi Vishwanath temple, the Mumbadevi temple area will be redeveloped. For this, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde assured to take a positive decision regarding the establishment of Mumbadevi Temple Development Authority here on Thursday.
Shinde was speaking after inspecting the locality by visiting Mumbadevi at Kalbadevi. At this time Assembly Speaker Adv. Rahul Narvekar, Women and Child Development Minister Mangalprabhat Lodha, MLA Sada Saravankar, former Minister Deepak Sawant, Raj Purohit and others were present.
Mumbadevi is an ancient temple and everyone has faith, trust and love towards it. Many devotees visit the Mumbadevi temple area. Mumbaikars are demanding that development should be done on the lines of Kashi Vishwanath temple and Mahakaleshwar temple corridor in Ujjain, Tirupati temple. Thinking about it, a decision will be taken soon, said Shinde.
