MP Supriya Sule and NCP Leader had earlier on Wednesday announced a scheme named, “Jivlag Yojna”. This scheme is set to assist those children who have lost both parents to coronavirus.

The scheme will be worked on by the Nationalist Congress Party and the NCP Welfare Trust. It is set to be launched on Thursday which happens to be Ajit Pawar, NCP Leader and Deputy Chief Minister.

According to some reports, a party leader has stated that in Marathi, the word Jivlag is a synonym for someone very close to one’s heart. The leader went on to elaborate that approximately 450 children who were left orphaned because they lost both their parents to the coronavirus will be aided through this scheme. Through the party and its welfare trust, care, as well as security will be provided, to these orphans.

To enable the same, the party is said to have dispensed 450 people to bond and connect with the children.

Supriya Sule according to reports has also elaborated on how these individuals will talk to the children and understand their problems. Based on this, they will give inputs to the party, who will then curate an extensive plan to help those orphaned due to the virus.
