Mahalaxmi – Salaam Bombay Academy of Performing Arts and Madhu Mehta Foundation had jointly organised a Diwali party for poor and orphan children in the city on Saturday. Over 1,500 children from 26 orphanages participated in the party. Nitai Mehta, the founder of Madhu Mehta Foundation, said that the foundation has been organising the Diwali party from last 37 years. All the kids enjoyed the party to the fullest and they were also presented gifts.
