The fuel rates on Friday, March 26, remain unchanged after having witnessed a drop for two consecutive days. On March 24, 2021, the petrol and diesel prices fell by 18 paise and 17 paise for the first time after having remained the same for three consecutive weeks.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, March 26 state-run oil marketing companies (OMCs) cut the petrol and diesel prices by 21 paise and 20 paise, respectively. This continues to stay for Friday, March 26.
Even after the prices were slashed, Mumbai’s petrol cost is the highest across metro cities today at INR 97.19 per litre while diesel in the country’s financial capital costs INR 88.20 per litre.
In Delhi, the price of petrol was kept unchanged at INR 90.78 per litre while diesel was priced at INR 81.10 per litre.
