Ace cricketer, Virat Kohli's love for animals is no secret. Over the last several years, Virat Kohli's foundation has been working with many causes and continuing the same, the team has now decided to open two animal shelters in Malad and Boisar areas of Mumbai.

This decision has been taken for the betterment of blind and paralysed animals. The foundation has taken the step in association with two other NGOs, which work for the same purpose - Vivaldis Animal Health and Awaaz, and Voice of Stray Animals.

Reports state that the animals will be first taken to the shelter in Malad for treatment, and upon recovery, they will be shifted to Boisar. The plan is to offer medical support to cats and dogs, which are affected in Mumbai. Ambulance services will also be offered by Kohli's foundation.
