Mumbai- Mumbai Police have rolled up their sleeves for the New Year celebrations. They will keep a hawked eye with the help of drone in important parts of Mumbai, especially in those areas where CCTV cameras are not placed.
On December 31st huge crowd throngs hotels and restaurants near beaches where molestation cases are reported the most. And so, this year, Mumbai police will remain present in such parties. “We have created special team which will comprise of women police officers and constables. If we see any untoward incident, we will take action then and there,” said Ashok Dudhe, Mumbai police spokesperson. Along with this, to curb drink and drive cases, nakabandi will be done on important places.
