Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC) has completed another milestone as it completed 3,000 episodes on 24th September 2020. The show has been running successfully for the last 12 years and it has managed to have a connect with Indian audience through its storyline
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah aired for the first time on 28 July, 2008 and was telecast on SAB TV, Sony Pictures Network India.

Every milestone that the show achieves is a matter of pride not just for us but for the entire nation which brings us great joy. For the first time in twelve years, the airing of the show was interrupted for a couple of months due to the unfortunate lockdown. Through this time too, our viewers and well-wishers stood by us and supported us” says Asit Kumarr Modi, Creator of the show.

Balvinder Singh Suri who plays the role of Sodhi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah says, "Although I have only recently joined the team but the set feels like home, like I belong here. Mandar Chandwadkar who plays the role of Bhide in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah says, "The last 12 years of Being Bhide has up-skilled a lot of new things within me. From inculcating discipline to becoming an aware and responsible citizen. We now aim for achieving bigger milestones and greater success. The journey to this day was not an easy task, every single person on the set be it in the front or behind the camera has worked really hard to achieve this success."
Samay Shah who plays the role of Gogi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah says, "Gokuldhaam Society is home to us. There wasn't a single day over the last 3,000 episodes when we didn't enjoy our work. If I were to express how I feel being part of this team in one word, then it would be 'FUN'. Asit Sir and the team have always supported us – Tapu sena."
