Western Railways (WR) have announced a Major Block which will be undertaken on UP slow lines at Jogeshwari station during the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday, i.e. on February 7-8, 2023 from 00.10 hrs to 04.10 hrs. in view of track circuit conversion work.
According to a press release issued by Sumit Thakur - Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the details of the local services affected due to this block are as under:-
1. During the block period, the following UP slow line trains will be operated on UP fast lines between Goregaon and Andheri stations. Hence, these trains will not halt at Ram Mandir station for want of platform. So, passengers are allowed to travel in opposite direction between Jogeshwari and Goregaon stations. The details of these trains are as under:
·Virar - Churchgate local departing Virar at 23.30 hrs
·Borivali - Churchgate local departing Borivali at 00.10 hrs
·Virar - Churchgate local departing Virar at 23.49 hrs
·Borivali - Churchgate local departing Borivali at 00.30 hrs
·Virar - Churchgate local departing Virar at 00.05 hrs
·Borivali - Churchgate local departing Borivali at 03.50 hrs
2. Virar – Andheri local departing Virar at 23.40 hrs will run upto Goregaon & will remain cancelled between Goregaon & Andheri.
3. Andheri – Bhayander local departing Andheri at 00.46 hrs will be run from Goregaon and will remain cancelled between Andheri & Goregaon.
