Railways will run 6 special trains between Mumbai and Jaynagar in Bihar to clear the extra rush of passengers during Holi festival.

The details are as under:

Train no.05562 Holi special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) o­n every Monday at 13.30 hrs from 13.03.2023 to *27.03.2023* and will arrive Jaynagar at 08.00 hrs third day.

Train no.05561 Holi special will leave Jaynagar o­n every Saturday at 23.50 hrs from 11.03.2023 to 25.03.2023 and will arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 13.00 hrs o­n third day.

*Halts*: Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Khandwa,  Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheokki, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn, Buxar, Ara, Patna, Bakhtiyarpur, Mokama, Barauni, Samastipur and Darbhanga

*Composition*:  Two AC-2 Tier, 8 AC-3 Tier, 6 Sleeper class and 5 General Second Class including o­ne Guard's Brake van and o­ne Generator Van 

*Reservation*: Bookings for special train No. 05562 o­n special charges opened o­n February 21, 2023 at all computerised reservation centers and o­n website www.irctc.co.in

Meanwhile, on February 20, Naresh Lalwani, General Manager, Central Railways (CR) inspected Badnera-Bhusaval Section.

The General Manager inspected the new lifts and station premises at Amravati where he also visited the coach restaurant and inspected the Sewage Treatment Plant. He also inspected the newly constructed Foot Over Bridge, new Accident Relief Train (ART) Shed, Railway Colony, Health Unit, RPF Thana (Post), Crew Lobby at Badnera. A speed trial run o­n Badnera-Takli-Kuram section was also conducted. He also inspected curve, level crossing gate o­n Murtajapur-Katepurna section, Safety & Rajbhasha exhibition at Borgaon.

The General Manager inspected the Traction Sub Station (TSS), interacted with Gang at Akola Yard. He also inspected passenger amenities, S&T Real Time Monitoring System, Electronic Interlocking (EI) Learning Centre and station premises at Akola. A speed trial run o­n Akola-Gaigaon-Paras-Shri Kshetra Nagjhari section, inspected Mund bridge. Inspection of o­n-line Monitoring of Rolling stock System (ORMS) o­n Malkapur-Wadoda  Section, TSS o­n Malkapur-Khamkhed Section, Limited Height Subway (LHS) o­n Khamkhed-Bodwad Section was also conducted.  The General Manager inspected the new Officers’ Transit House, Wheel Lathe Shed in Electric Loco Shed, Badminton Court at Bhusaval.
