Central Railways already announced the running of special trains on special charges between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Banaras including Teachers' special trains, during the summer rush.

01055 special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 10.30 hrs on 6.6.2022 and arrive in Banaras at 15.30 hrs the next day.

Halts: KalyanNashik Road, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bina, Virangana Lakshmibai station, Govindpuri, Fatehpur, Prayagraj, Gyanpur Road stations

Composition: One First AC, Three AC-2 Tier, Four AC-3 Tier, 8 Sleeper Class, 8 General Second Class including Guard’s brake vans.

Reservation: Bookings for special train no.01055 leaving on June 6, 2022, on special charges will open on May 4, 2022, at computerised reservation centres and on the website. General second class coaches of the above train will run as unreserved coaches. 

Passengers are requested to follow COVID-19 appropriate behaviour for their and others’ safety.

In other developments, recently the Indian Railways withdrew the restriction o­n the supply of linen, blankets and curtains in trains. These restrictions were earlier imposed in view of coronavirus and due to the Standard Operating Protocol (SOPs) pandemic for the movement of passengers by trains.

Putting into force the recent decision to withdraw from this restriction, Western Railways (WR) has restored the provision of linen in some more trains commencing from Mumbai.
