Centrail Railways to run special trains from Mumbai to Chhapra and Varanasi

Coronavirus cases in the city of Mumbai are increasing significantly and several migrants from the northern states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar have been returning over the last few days. Keeping the same in mind, the railways has announced some trains which is said to be helpful for the citizens. 

On April 21, 2021, the Public Relations Department of the Central Railway at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai, announced that the following trains will be running from Mumbai to Chhapra (Bihar) to Mumbai

Below-mentioned are the details

• 01225 Special Lokmanya Tilak Terminus will leave at 14.30 on 23.4.2021 and will reach Chhapra at 10.50 AM on the third day.
• 01226 Special will leave Chhapra at 05.40 hrs on 26.4.2021 and will reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 00.40 hrs on the third day.
• These 22 Second-Seating trains will halt at Thane, Bhiwandi Road, Vasai Road, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Bayana, Agra Fort, Tundla Junction, Kanpur Central, Aishbagh, Gonda, Basti, Gorakhpur, Bhatni, Siwan Junction.

On the other hand, the services of Mumbai-Manduadih Superfast Special has been changed, whereby trains 01101/01102 will now operate four days a week instead of bi-weekly.

• 01101 Special will depart from Dadar from 21.4.2021 to 1.5.2021 every Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday at 21.45 pm and reach Manduadih at 22.45 the next day.
• 01102 Special from Manduadih will leave every Tuesday, Friday, Monday and Thursday from 21.4.2021 to 1.5.2021 at 00.35 hrs and reach Dadar at 03.55 hrs the next day.
• The timing, halt and composition of these special trains have been previously announced.

Extended services of fully reserved Superfast Special Train 01101 and booking of Special Train 01225 will start from 22.4.2021 at all computerized reservation centers and website. As per the guidelines, only confirmed passengers will be allowed to travel in this special trains. Passengers are advised to abide by all the norms, SOPs related to COVID-19 lockdown during boarding and the journey.
