Railways have decided to run 2 special trains on special charges between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Shalimar to clear the extra rush of passengers. The details are as under:
Composition: Two AC-2 Tier, One AC-3 Tier, 8 Sleeper Class and 2 General second class cum Brake vans.
Halts: Thane, Kalyan, Nashik Road, Manmad, Chalisgaon, Pachora, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Varangaon (for 08101 only), Bodwad, Malkapur, Nandura, Shegaon, Akola, Murtajapur, Badnera, Dhamangaon, Pulgaon, Wardha, Ajni, Nagpur on Central Railways (CR).

Reservation: Bookings for special train no. 08101 on special charges will open on June 15, 2022, at all computerised reservation centres and on the website. Passengers are advised to follow COVID-19 appropriate behaviour for their and others' safety.
On the other hand, Mumbaikars have reportedly moved their choice of buying tickets to App-based e-tickets giving a major boost to the UTS.
As per data by railways, there is a considerable surge in usage of the UTS app of around 9.45 per cent for purchasing Mumbai local train tickets. According to figures on CR, in May, more than 80 lakh people travelled using UTS App of which 16 lakhs plus tickets were sold by the rail authorities.
