There is some good news for the passengers of Navi Mumbai. Digha railway station on Uran Local and Trans Harbour route is expected to open for passengers soon.
The ambitious project of Central Railway Belapur-Kharkopar-Uran route and Digha railway station is likely to be started in the next 10 days.

Digha railway station was inaugurated on April 6. However, due to some reasons it was stopped. However, now the railway station is ready for passengers and it is said that the station will be inaugurated soon. This station will be beneficial for the residents of Vitawa, Digha and citizens have been waiting for this station for many years.
