The Maharashtra State Road and Transport Corporation (MSRTC) is bringing in a change by introducing a new service which will not be limited to Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) but will run outside Maharashtra as well.
MSRTC has introduced first Shivshahi Mumbai-Bengaluru AC bus service which departed from Mumbai Central bus depot on Tuesday around 9:30 am.
The bus which left around 9:30 am from Mumbai Central will reach Bengaluru on Wednesday around 6:00 pm. Likewise, the Bengaluru-Mumbai bus will leave Bengaluru on Tuesday at around 4:00 pm and will reach Mumbai Central at 2:00 pm on Wednesday.
The Mumbai-Bengaluru Shivshahi bus is a semi-sleeper and one can book tickets for ₹1905. Senior citizens will get 45 per cent discount on the same.
The bus route includes Swaargate, Satara, Kolhapur, Belgaum, Hubli, Havering and Chitradurga.
